Fraser Alexander is recruiting three Assistant General Workers for its mining operations in Phalaborwa, Limpopo. The successful candidates will provide general site support and help operational teams achieve daily production targets. They will also assist with housekeeping, inspections, and basic operational activities while following company safety procedures. This temporary position is ideal for candidates with Grade 12 and relevant work experience looking to gain valuable mining industry experience .

• Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent qualification
• At least one year of relevant work experience
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Good listening ability and attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and adapt
• Safety-conscious mindset
• Physically, mentally, and medically fit
• Must pass criminal screening processes
• Willing to work rotating shifts and overtime

• Support site teams to achieve operational targets
• Assist with daily inspections of work areas and report hazards or deviations
• Support pipeline and valve operations under supervision
• Assist with problem-solving operational challenges and escalate issues to supervisors
• Perform general site support and housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Execute all assigned tasks in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Comply with all health, safety, and company procedures
• Perform any other general assigned site activities as required to support operations
