Irrigation Marketing and Support Specialist

To market irrigation products to producers in the geographical area, expand the customer base, build and maintain customer relationships, provide irrigation design support and advice, conduct surveys and designs, provide training, troubleshoot faults, expand irrigation scheduling services, and research new irrigation technologies.

• Minimum of Grade 12 qualification.
• A tertiary qualification will be advantageous.
• 2-3 years of experience in marketing (agricultural products).
• 5-8 years' experience in irrigation.
• Sound knowledge of agriculture.
• Accredited SABI designer.
• Service delivery and marketing skills.
• Computer literate, proficient in Model Maker (IrriMaker) and MS Office package.
• Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English (verbal and written communication).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable own transport.

• Report regularly to the Assistant Business Manager on market activities and progress.
