Manager Engineering SR

Sibanye-Stillwater is seeking a Manager Engineering SR to join their Engineering department at the Gold West Wits operating segment (Driefontein). The successful candidate will contribute to the development of strategic mine plans and strategy, develop and implement engineering maintenance, risk and operational strategies, oversee all engineering work for effective functioning, and ensure compliance with all legal, environmental, occupational health and safety, and risk management standards.

• NQF 7 (Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma) in Engineering
• At least 5 years of experience as an Engineer
• 3 years of experience as an appointed 2.13.1 Engineer
• Government Certificate of Competency (GCC)
• ECSA registration (advantageous)
• Medically fit to work in the specific business area
• Clear security screening record
• Valid driver's license
• South African citizen or valid work authorization
• Clear criminal record

• Contribute to the development of strategic mine plans and strategy
• Develop, implement, and monitor engineering maintenance, risk, and operational strategies and plans
• Support Asset Management specific standards, specifications, and procedures
• Provide support in defining and implementing an engineering strategy at a large, complex operation aligned with operational and corporate strategy
• Identify, implement, and manage policies, practices, systems, and technologies
• Support and implement the Asset Management Strategy and Improvement Plans adhering to the Sibanye-Stillwater Asset Management Framework
• Oversee all engineering work for effective functioning and supporting mining operations
• Ensure compliance with all legal, environmental, occupational health and safety, and risk management standards and best practices
• Support the development of critical spare parts lists using a structured maintenance systems methodology
• Lead and/or participate in failure analysis/defect elimination techniques for cross-functional teams
