Description

To assist the local office with supervised material and stock handling, performing duties subject to the directions, control, and discipline of the Provincial Electoral Officer or their delegate.

Requirements
  • South African citizenship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the local office with supervised material and stock handling.
  • Pick and pack electoral materials accurately.
  • Receive and check incoming stock and materials.
  • Store materials in designated locations.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock movements.
  • Assist with stock counts and inventory checks.
  • Ensure materials are handled safely and securely.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse.
  • Report any stock discrepancies or damages to the supervisor.
  • Follow all instructions from the Provincial Electoral Officer or delegate.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Electoral Commission.

Special Conditions of Employment:

Applicants should not have a high party political profile.

All successful permanent candidates will be required to enter into performance contracts.

Foreign qualifications must be accompanied by an evaluation certificate from SAQA.

A probation period of twelve months will be applicable to permanent employees.
