Cleaner - Housekeeping Department

To provide a high standard of hygiene, ensuring proper upkeep of good housekeeping and cleaning, maintaining good customer service, and eliminating dirt and untidy surroundings in the working environment.

• Matric equivalent or Recognition for Prior Learning.
• Ability to clean efficiently and effectively.
• Good understanding of proper hygiene and good housekeeping.
• Ability to be flexible and perform good teamwork with other colleagues.
• Communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Physically fit to perform cleaning duties (standing, bending, lifting).
• Reliable and punctual.
• Attention to detail in cleaning tasks.
• Willingness to perform various cleaning duties as required.
• Ability to report breakages and faulty equipment.

• Clean, sweep, dust, mop, and vacuum floors in the store and offices on a daily basis.
• Empty bins on a daily basis.
• Make tea for staff on a daily basis.
• Clean the kitchen on a daily basis.
• Clean windows fortnightly.
• Report breakages and faulty equipment.
• Order cleaning stock when needed.
• Ensure housekeeping of work area.
• Participate in perpetual stock takes.
• Perform any work-related tasks as delegated by superior.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
