Description
Empact Group is seeking an Administrator to join their Food Solutions team in Bellville on a fixed-term contract basis. Reporting to the Unit Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for WorkSmart processing as per set budget and in accordance with company policies and procedures. The successful candidate will handle general administration duties, stock take management, debtor and creditor assistance, cash ups and banking, and data capturing.
Requirements
- Matric certificate
- Administration qualification (advantageous)
- Minimum of 2 years administration experience
- Customer relations experience
- Minimum of 1 year experience working on WorkSmart
- Excellent communication, organisation, and planning skills
- Computer literacy in MS Office (essential)
- Financial acumen
- Management skills
- Understanding of par levels and stock control principles
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently execute daily capturing using the WorkSmart system
- Perform general administration duties such as typing and filing
- Conduct weekly and monthly stock takes according to schedule
- Capture stock-take data accurately into the system
- Assist with debtors and creditors processing and reconciliation
- Spot check depot stock-takes if required to ensure accuracy
- Take responsibility for cash ups and banking procedures
- Order daily stock items based on operational requirements
- Understand par levels and adhere to them consistently
- Assist with monthly price changes and purchasing code changes
