CIT Driver

Fidelity Services Group is seeking a CIT Driver to join their Fidelity Cash Solutions team at the Upington Branch, reporting to the Branch Manager. The overall purpose of this position is to transport Crewman and Custodians to collect and deliver clients' money and provide proof of delivery and collection. The successful candidate will take full responsibility and accountability for collecting and delivering clients' money while ensuring incident prevention and reporting.

• Clear criminal record
• PSIRA accredited with a minimum Grade C qualification
• Cash in Transit (CIT) Certificate
• Firearm competency with a minimum handgun (for business purposes) qualification
• Valid driver's license - Code C1 (minimum) and a valid PDP (Professional Driving Permit)
• At least 2 years' experience in security industry or similar role (advantageous at FSG)
• Physically fit and able to work under pressure
• Must be honest, reliable, and self-motivated
• Good verbal and language abilities
• Willing to work overtime and travel as required

• Take full responsibility and accountability for collecting and delivering clients' money
• Report all delays to the Operations Manager immediately
• Prevent incidents and report any security concerns promptly
• Maintain radio contact with controllers throughout all operations
• Take preventive action towards any suspicious activity observed
• Conduct vehicle audit and complete checklist before and after each shift
• Drive vehicle responsibly and complete documentation of accidents or incidents
• Ensure all client assets are secured at all times during transport
• Provide proof of delivery and collection to clients
• Adhere to all CIT security protocols and procedures without exception
