Empact Group is seeking a Cook to join their Food Solutions team in Gqeberha on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing food for daily kitchen production, ensuring the delivery of high-quality food service in line with established standards. This role requires a dedicated individual with strong food preparation skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

• Matric (Grade 12) – essential
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Cook in a contract catering environment – essential
• Customer service experience – essential
• Professional Cookery Certificate – advantageous
• Experience in a hospitality environment – advantageous
• Sound knowledge of food preparation and food safety standards
• Ability to comply with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Knowledge of special dietary requirements and ability to work under pressure

• Prepare and cook food for daily kitchen production according to established standards
• Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all meals served
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times
• Assist in meeting customer expectations through quality food service delivery
• Comply with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations in the workplace
