Expert Architecture Advisor

SAP is seeking an Expert Architecture Advisor to join the Customer Advisory team. This role works closely with SAP's Sales organisation and the Partner ecosystem to define account strategy. The Architecture Advisor bridges the gap between the customer's business strategy and relevant solutions by crafting to-be business and solution architectures and designing transformation roadmaps at the enterprise level. This trusted advisor role facilitates customer adoption of cloud-based architectures and requires deep knowledge of cloud, hosted services, SaaS/PaaS models, and cloud-based commerce.

• Considerable experience with software/IT organisations as an IT Architecture or Enterprise Architecture Advisor
• Specific expertise in Solution Management, Sales, Presales, Adoption/Consumption, Consulting, or Business Development with proven outcomes over multiple years
• Deep knowledge of Cloud, Hosted Services, SaaS/PaaS models, and cloud-based commerce/business networks
• Proven professional networks in the market to drive pipeline and revenue growth
• Proven leadership and project management experience
• Proven experience driving tangible outcomes in Enterprise Architecture for customers
• Fluency in English (additional languages advantageous)
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred
• TOGAF or SAPIEA-10 certifications (advantageous)
• Experience in using EAM tools (advantageous)

• Support the assessment of current customer solutions from SAP and identify areas for faster solution adoption and footprint expansion
• Engage with customers to support sales cycles throughout the Customer Value Journey as an integral member of the SAP account team
• Drive business and IT architecture definitions to ensure consistency, cooperation, and alignment with SAP organisations, customers, and partners
• Provide a linkage from the customer to SAP product development leadership
• Create an SAP Architecture Vision for customers through thought leadership positioning
• Understand customer's business process map and business model with industry reference architecture focus
• Drive the positioning of standard cloud architectures (plug and play) leveraging standard cloud solutions
• Build key customer architecture deliverables including Business & Solution Architecture, Target State, and Transformation Roadmap
• Drive business architecture and capability mapping to solution design using SAP LeanIX, SAP Signavio, and WalkMe
• Act as an AI ambassador by using tools for efficiency and aligning living roadmaps with current adoption and solution consumption
