Salesperson

Sleepmasters is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Salesperson to join their team at the PMB-Edendale branch. The ideal candidate will be responsible for selling products to customers and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Salesperson will develop and maintain relationships with customers, identify their needs, and recommend products that best suit those needs. This individual will work towards achieving sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the organisation.

• Grade 12 / Matric certificate
• 7 to 12 months of sales experience, preferably in retail
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Self-motivation and drive to achieve targets
• Customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Initiative and ability to take action without constant supervision
• Attention to detail in all aspects of work
• Knowledge of sales and prospecting processes
• Understanding of Business Policies and Procedures and basic retail knowledge

• Perform sales activities to generate income and maximise profit
• Achieve sales budgets, targets, and income goals as set by management
• Attract and retain customers through effective merchandising and store presentation
• Action cash and credit processes and administration in line with company policy
• Deal with customers in a customer-centric manner at all times
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers
• Identify customer needs and recommend products that best suit those needs
• Maintain extensive product knowledge across all product categories
• Contribute to the overall growth of the organisation through consistent sales performance
• Demonstrate courage, confidence, and emotional maturity in customer interactions
