Technical Manager

Broll Property Group is seeking a Technical Manager to ensure that technical services are managed and executed according to each account. The Technical Manager will be provided with training on Broll systems, Concept Evolution (CMMS) and the Broll Management Portal, to manage tasks, approve orders, and manage day-to-day operations. This role reports directly to the Divisional Technical Manager (DTM).

• Valid driver's license (Code 8 minimum)
• Trade test qualification in HVAC, Refrigeration, or Electrical (for promotion eligibility)
• Experience in facilities management and technical services
• Knowledge of CMMS systems (Concept Evolution)
• Understanding of SLA management and KPI measurement
• Strong computer literacy (MS Office, mobile apps, portals)
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills
• OHS Act knowledge and safety compliance understanding
• South African citizen or valid work authorization
• Clear criminal record

• Manage all client requests/incidents logged via the Broll CMMS system (Concept Evolution)
• Ensure contractors are managed daily in Concept Evolution to complete work on time
• Record all comments/events on the system daily regarding work in progress
• Manage calls within agreed SLA time lines and update Concept Evolution with reasons for any failures
• Conduct regular site inspections as issued by Divisional Technical Manager
• Log all site visits as WIs on Concept Evolution and capture relevant data via mobile APP
• Perform asset management including tagging, creating new assets, verifying and auditing existing assets using Mobile Asset APP
• Manage contractors to ensure services are in line with client expectations and within agreed scope
• Approve all work done and invoices submitted by contractors on the Broll Portal within a three-day cycle
• Ensure all approved invoices and quotes contain/reference the asset number
