Banking Specialist

FNB Private Bank is seeking a Banking Specialist to deliver tailored financial solutions to high-net-worth clients. This role involves direct engagement with clients to understand their unique financial needs and objectives. The Banking Specialist is a dedicated product and service expert responsible for providing in-depth knowledge in specific banking products, developing customized banking solutions for complex client needs, and serving as the technical expert for sophisticated banking arrangements.

• FSCA Recognised Qualification
• Minimum NQF Level 7 Degree
• RE5 certification
• 10 years of overall experience in the Financial Services Industry
• 5 years of experience as a Private Banker or Private Advisor dealing with wealthy high-net-worth (HNW) clients
• In-depth knowledge of banking products (lending, deposits, cash management)
• Understanding of regulatory changes affecting banking products
• South African citizen or valid work authorization
• Clear criminal and credit record

• Provide in-depth knowledge in specific banking products including lending, deposits, and cash management
• Develop customized banking solutions for complex client needs
• Stay current on regulatory changes affecting banking products
• Serve as the technical expert for sophisticated banking arrangements
• Structure sophisticated credit facilities including unsecured loans and lines of credit
• Arrange specialized mortgages for luxury properties or complex ownership structures
• Create custom deposit solutions with preferential rates
• Implement cash management strategies for non-trading entities
• Facilitate foreign currency transactions and international banking needs
• Work alongside other specialists during client meetings and explain technical aspects of banking solutions
