Salesperson 2IC

Russells is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Salesperson 2IC to join their team in Klerksdorp. The ideal candidate will be responsible for selling products to customers, ensuring customer satisfaction, and standing in for the Branch Manager when unavailable. The Salesperson will develop and maintain relationships with customers, identify their needs, and recommend products that best suit those needs while working towards achieving sales targets.

• Grade 12 / Matric certificate
• 7 to 12 months of sales experience, preferably in Retail
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Self-motivation and drive to achieve targets
• Customer service orientation
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Initiative and attention to detail
• Knowledge of sales and prospecting processes
• Understanding of Business Policies & Procedures and basic retail knowledge
• South African citizen or valid work authorization

• Perform sales activities to generate income and maximise profit
• Achieve sales budgets, targets, and income goals as set by management
• Attract and retain customers through effective merchandising
• Action cash and credit processes and administration in line with company policy
• Deal with customers in a customer-centric manner at all times
• Stand in for the Branch Manager when the Branch Manager is not available
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers
• Identify customer needs and recommend products that best suit those needs
• Maintain extensive product knowledge across all product categories
• Practice effective self-management and work collaboratively within a team
