Trainee Manager

Dis-Chem Pharmacies Limited

• Grade 12 / Matric certificate
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in store retail management disciplines including stock management, cash, reporting, expense control, and customer service
• Computer literate in MS Office
• Willing and able to work retail hours (including weekends)
• Valid driver's license
• Own reliable transport
• Diploma in Finance, Administration, or a relevant 3-year Diploma (advantageous)
• South African citizen
• Clear credit and criminal records

• Ensure processing of items including goods in transit, cycle counts, physical stock to system matches, stock takes, addressing shrinkage, and overall stock levels
• Assist with planning, implementation, and maintenance of promotional stock displays in FMCG, Health, and Beauty
• Assist with achieving set store sales targets including FMCG, Health, and Beauty
• Assist with daily cash-ups and review of reconciliation packs and paperwork
• Support management to ensure promotions are effectively executed and market share is increased
• Assist with addressing customer complaints promptly and ensuring customer request system is operational daily
• Assist with people administration duties including leave management, scheduling, and staff file management
• Participate and engage in meetings, workshops, and other learning opportunities
• Complete all required learning programs and assessments to be deemed competent
